shivaji was not against muslims they were against those rulers who were imposing their religion on others or those rulers who did not care about the people

शिवाजी मुसलमानों के खिलाफ नहीं थे वह उन राज्यकर्ता तथा सैनिकोके खिलाफ थे जो अपने बल का इस्तमाल प्रजा के धर्मं परिवर्तन और सामाजिक - शारीरिक तथा आर्थिक शोषण के लिए करते थे.
शिवाजी मुग़ल/आदिल शाह के खिलाफ थे क्योकि वो किसानो से कर वसूल करते थे पर प्रजा-किसानकी रक्षा तथा भलाई की उन्हें कोई फिक्र नहीं थी. मुग़ल/आदिल शाह के राज्य में उस समय न्याय ही नहीं था.
शिवाजी के सैन्य में नूरखान बेग , सागरी आरमार प्रमुख दौलत खान और सिद्दी हिलाल जैसे कई मुसलमान सरदार थे. और शाहिस्त्य खान हमले के समय पठानों की तुकडी ने आगे कुछ की थी
